Lady Laura Tarital is a lady-in-waiting for Empress Navier of the Eastern Empire.
History[]
Laura became the lady-in-waiting of an empress to learn court etiquette. She feels that she is able to easily be open with her master because the two are the same age, unlike the other ladies-in-waiting who are considerably older.[1]
Personality[]
Laura is a very outspoken person who does not hesitate to say what's her on mind, even if it means being improper as a noble lady. She tends to subtly or no so subtly insult her master's husband and his concubine. She is also a person who is very much into gossip and will share it with her friends and ask their opinions about the rumors.
Physical appearance[]
Laura is a slender young woman with a splatter of brown freckles across her nose; large, green, downturned eyes; and long orange hair that is always seen half tied up with a bow.

Family[]
- Marquis Tarital: Laura's father. Although Navier described her as "the cherished daughter of a marquis", Laura implies that she dislikes her father because of his numerous affairs.
- Marchioness Tarital: Laura's mother. It can be inferred that they have a close bond, as Marchioness Tarital was furious about Laura's 3-day (5-day in the novels) imprisonment for defending Navier against Rashta.
Friends[]
- Navier: Laura's master and friend. Unlike Eliza, Laura is very outspoken and quick to anger when someone disrespects Navier, even if it results in being punished for her words. She doesn't hold her tongue around Navier in private, and refuses to keep anything from her. Laura follows Navier to the Western Empire to be her lady-in-waiting there as well.
- Countess Eliza: Laura's fellow lady-in-waiting to Navier. Eliza scolds Laura whenever she misbehaves, although she's never really successful in doing so.
