Viscountess Verdi is a supporting character in the Remarried Empress. She was originally a lady-in-waiting to Empress Navier, but took on the same role for Rashta because she was offered a higher wage to pay her family's debts.

- Glorym: Verdi grows very attached to Glorym after her birth, and takes it upon herself to inform Emperor Sovieshu of Rashta injuring the child despite this action incurring Rashta's wrath. Verdi is the only one asides from Sovieshu permitted to look after the child. Fearing for the child's safety, Verdi attempts to escape from the capital following the paternity test. Their carriage is attacked by bandits however and Verdi was injured. When she comes to, Glorym is missing and Verdi presumes the child to be dead.
